Beloved

I cannot help but look away from you

your warm and kind eyes

they fuel me

Such as the moon orbits the earth

I can't seem to stray from you

I am merely a speck of dirt to walk on

yet you make me feel so much more

I would do anything for you

it is not right, however

you must not feel the same

never

What else can I do but follow the pull of gravity

It pulls me towards

you

It won't help, it won't

The pull must be false

And yet why do I still call you

my beloved?

(I recommend reading the book Aurora Rising. That book is the reason why I created this poem.)
