Oh, walk across the winding, rocky road to find me
Darling, you'll see me smiling and waiting for you
Darling, you'll look upon the hellish flower bed I stand on
Darling, you'll never see me again, so savour this moment
May my prayers reach you, my lovely blossom
And may my tears never upset you
Oh, find me in the cemetery, next to the wilting tree
You may try to touch me
but that would be wrong
And oh, please leave me alone, my blossom
We shall meet again on another plain day
So leave me alone this once
And though you finally found me, resting on the other side of our river
I know you must stay away from me
for who would come close to a sinner?
Stay away from me, lovely blossom
Stay away and be happy
With a smile, I'll curse you out if you come nearer
Perhaps we'll reincarnate into a better world
with a better sky
and a better life
But now, I sink in solitude
and you walk the path of light
Darling, may we never meet again
and may you never cry
Darling, don't wish for me to be your friend
and never ever lie
...Darling, hold my hand this one last time
as the light fades from my eyes
(I used the word 'darling' once in my last poem. My dad said that made it seem like a ray of hope. Well. This is made from spite.)
