A game of love, a game of lies.
How many people around the world cry
just because their lover died?
Or maybe they were not even real
or perhaps had a heart of steel.
The God of love laughs at these unfortunate souls,
for all of them are under his control.
With a smirk, he pulls back the string,
hitting yet another unsuspecting pairing.
A game of happiness, a game of chance.
No one knows when it’s their last dance.
That’s up for him to decide
what kind of love you’ll find.
“I am near.
I’m the puppeteer.”
